Lampkin Transportation LLC was founded by NFL athlete Ashton Lampkin. Having an entrepreneurial mindset, Ashton spoke to his peers while attending OSU about starting his own trucking company one day. After college, Ashton went on to play in the NFL for teams such as the Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, and Washington Redskins. Although football always will be Ashton’s first passion, he never forgot about one of his other dreams; trucking. In his third year in the NFL Ashton felt like the time was finally right to jump into the trucking industry. That’s when his plan came into fruition and Lampkin Transportation LLC was established. As an athlete, Ashton is accustomed to fast paced and competitive environments. With the trucking industry being described as just that, Ashton and the Lampkin Transportation team will thrive for generations to come.
